Roughly six million police-reported crashes happen in the U.S. every year — and almost nobody involved knows what to do in the hours after. We built the resource we wished existed.
After The Crash exists to give car accident victims clear, honest, pressure-free guidance through the three systems they're suddenly forced to navigate: medical care, insurance claims, and the legal process. Everything we publish is free, written in plain English, and independent.
Guides are reviewed against current state-by-state norms and updated as insurance practices and laws change. Directory inclusions are based on reputation, longevity, and usefulness to victims — never payment.
Corrections, suggestions, or organizations that should be in the directory: email hello@afterthecrash.net.
